Getting started with Techondo
A short guide to bringing your business into Techondo, from creating an account to your first transaction. It takes about twenty minutes.
1. Create an account and project
Sign up, then create your first project. A project is one business: its products, its books, and its team. You will be asked for your business type — trading, production, services, rental, or events — and the country you operate in, which together decide the modules you start with and the plans available to you.
2. Choose a plan
Pick the plan that matches your team. Every plan bills per active user each month plus a small fee on finalised transactions, so there is nothing to pay upfront and the cost follows your activity.
3. Set up your business profile
Fill in your business details, currency, costing method (FIFO or weighted average), and default expense categories. The costing method decides how Techondo values your stock and calculates profit, so it is worth getting right before you record purchases.
4. Add your products and opening stock
Enter what you sell. If you already hold stock, record the quantity and what it cost you — that opening balance is what makes your first profit figures meaningful.
5. Invite your team
Add team members from Settings › Team & Roles and give each the role they need. Roles control which modules a person sees and what they may do inside them, so a cashier need never see your margins.
6. Record your first transaction
Sell something at the counter, take an order, or log a purchase. The moment you do, stock, the ledger, and your dashboard all move together — which is the whole point of running on one system.
