Write your storefront pages and get found

Go beyond the product catalog — build the pages that explain your business and make it discoverable.

Before you start

  • A live storefront with products already listed

Steps

  1. Write your about and info pages

Storefront › CMS holds the pages that aren't product listings — who you are, your policies, anything a first-time visitor would want before they buy.

  2. List yourself in the directory

Storefront › Directory is what surfaces your business to buyers browsing rather than arriving with a direct link. Fill it in fully — category, location, description — rather than the minimum needed to pass validation.

  3. Keep pages current

A banner promoting a sale that ended last month costs more trust than it earned. Revisit Storefront › CMS whenever something it promotes changes.

  4. Check how it reads as a stranger

Open the storefront in a private browser window, with no assumptions carried over from knowing the business already, and read it the way a first-time visitor would.

What you end up with

A storefront that explains itself to someone who's never heard of your business before, and is actually discoverable rather than just reachable by direct link.
