Turn a lead into a customer

Capture a prospect, work it, and convert it without losing the history behind it.

Steps

  1. Capture the lead

Add a prospect in Growth › Leads as soon as you have a name and a reason to think they'll buy — a form fill, a referral, a conversation at a trade show.

  2. Work the lead

Log calls, notes, and follow-ups against the lead as they happen. The next person who picks up this lead sees exactly where it stands, instead of starting the conversation over.

  3. Convert it

Once the prospect commits, convert the lead into a customer record. It becomes a proper Partners › Customers entry — ready to take an order — without re-typing their details.

  4. Check the pipeline

Growth › Leads gives you a view of everyone still in progress, so a promising lead that's gone quiet doesn't just disappear.

What you end up with

A lead that became a customer without its history getting lost in the handoff — the notes from the first phone call are still there on their record.
